Insulating glazing spacers
Insulating glazing spacers are used in all double glazed joinery to hold the panes of glass in place. In our joinery, they are also used to create an air-tight compartment for our standard argon gas filling.
Standard Intercept® Spacer
Included in all of our glazing units, the Intercept spacer is made from foam encased steel and tin, ensuring stregth and durability. Its U-shape construction allows for flexibility in response to thermal expansion in the glass.
XL Edge™ Spacer
An optional upgrade for those wanting the absolute best performance, the XL Edge™ spacer is made from a staggered stainless steel, with two sealant layers and desiccant fill.
